A striking survey in Ankara: Is CHP or AK Party ahead?

The survey results conducted by ORC Research Company in Ankara have been shared with the public. According to the survey results, the gap between CHP and AK Party in the capital is increasingly widening.

Public opinion research companies continue their polling efforts at full speed following the opposition's continuous demand for early elections after the recent local elections. In a political trends survey conducted by ORC Research in Ankara, participants were asked the question, "If there were general elections this Sunday, which party would you vote for?" and were also asked about the most liked member of parliament in Ankara.

In the research conducted with 3,920 participants using a computer-assisted survey method, it was reported that the margin of error was calculated to be 1.8.

The research results were compared with the May 14 General Elections. According to the results, the CHP increased its votes by 5.8 points in Ankara, becoming the first party with 36.4 percent. The AK Party, on the other hand, decreased by 3.3 points, placing second with 29.2 percent. Following the AK Party were MHP, İYİ Party, Victory Party, New Welfare Party, DEM Party, and BBP in order.

Another question in the survey asked about the most liked members of parliament in the province. The preferences of the people of Ankara were listed as follows: CHP's Umut Akdoğan, AK Party's Osman Gökçek, CHP's Murat Emir, İYİ Party's Kürşad Zorlu, and Independent Member of Parliament Adnan Beker.
