The budget discussions of the Ministry of Interior in the TBMM Planning and Budget Commission started with tension. Before the meeting, there was a debate about the trustees between AK Party and CHP deputies. As the debate escalated, the tension increased. STRONG REACTION FROM THE AK PARTYBefore the commission, a strong statement came from AK Party Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik regarding the scuffle in which Minister Yerlikaya was caught in the middle. Çelik stated that the tension experienced by CHP deputies with Minister Yerlikaya was barbaric and made the following statement on his social media account: "The attack by some CHP deputies on our Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya in the Parliament is barbarism. We condemn this attack. Banditry cannot be accepted in the Parliament. No one can silence our Ministers and Deputies. Our experience in political struggle against barbarism is high. We will fight this struggle in the clearest way. Barbarism and banditry will receive the political and legal responses it deserves in every arena.
