Following the report, AFAD Chemical, Radiological, and Nuclear Threats (CBRN) teams and police teams were dispatched to the school. It was determined that the students evacuated from the area were not affected by the chemical substance.
TOXICITY LEVEL MEASURED AT 0.5
Measurements made by the CBRN teams in the area where the mercury was spilled determined the toxicity level to be 0.5. While the teams conducted cleaning operations in the school with special equipment, an investigation into the incident was initiated.
