A Syrian mother and her two children drowned in a pond in Muğla.

A Syrian mother and her two children drowned while trying to cool off in a pond in the Menteşe district of Muğla.

Syrian mother Velide Zaza (35) and her two sons entered Kazan Pond in Bayır Neighborhood to cool off. After the mother and her two sons disappeared in the water, the people around immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.

THEY LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE WATER WITH THEIR CHILDREN

The bodies of the mother and her sons, Muhammed (7) and Abdulgani (8), were recovered from the pond by the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department Underwater Search and Rescue teams. The bodies were sent to the Muğla Forensic Medicine Institute to determine the exact cause of death.
