A teacher who suffered a heart attack during the dormitory duty has died.

In a statement made from the social media account of the Giresun District National Education Directorate, it was reported that Ertuğrul Yel, an English teacher at Şehit Cengiz Sarıbaş Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, fell ill during his dormitory duty last night. The statement mentioned that Yel passed away at Espiye State Hospital, where he was taken, and it was stated, "The teacher, who was understood to have suffered a heart attack, received first aid in the supervisor's room, but despite all interventions at Espiye State Hospital, he could not be saved. Our educational community's condolences."

YOUNG TEACHER WAS MARRIED FOR TWO YEARS

In the statement, it was noted that the body of the 32-year-old teacher, who had been married for two years, would be buried after the funeral prayer to be held at Sel Değirmeni Mosque in Giresun center at the time of the afternoon prayer. Prayers were offered for Ertuğrul Yel, and condolences were extended to his family, relatives, and loved ones.
