A person died as a result of a van carrying agricultural workers in Gaziantep falling off a cliff. 22 people were injured in the accident, 7 of them seriously.

VAN FELL OFF A CLIFF

The accident occurred near Yakacık Village in Oğuzeli district of Gaziantep. Allegedly, the van with license plate number 27 MC 6450, driven by Ahmed H., collided with the light commercial vehicle with license plate number 35 EA 2946, driven by Ertuğrul T., which was traveling in front of it. As a result of the collision, the van carrying agricultural workers lost control and swerved off the road, falling off a cliff.

1 DEAD, 22 INJURED

After the horrific accident, the agricultural workers in the van were thrown around. Upon notification, numerous health, gendarmerie, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene. The health teams that arrived at the scene transported 23 injured individuals, 8 of them seriously, to various hospitals after the initial intervention. One of the injured individuals, who was taken to Oğuzeli State Hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions and lost their life. An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
