"CAN CAUSE FLOODING"
Meteorology expert Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen also announced the weather forecast on his social media account. In his post, Şen stated: "Severe rain is coming to Marmara and Istanbul, as well as the southern coast of the Aegean, starting from Thursday afternoon. It can cause flooding. On Thursday, the south wind in Istanbul, the Aegean coast, and Central Anatolia may cause material damage. It may lead to disruptions in air travel, please check your travel plans."
On Thursday, with the south wind, temperatures in the western and inner regions will rise by 6-7 degrees compared to today. On Saturday evening and Sunday, temperatures will rapidly decrease by 10 degrees. On Saturday, strong rain will enter from Marmara. This weather may cause snowfall in the inner regions at night and on Sunday.
