A 38-year-old musician, Gizem İşken, lost her balance on the cliffs in Antalya and fell 30 meters into the sea, resulting in her death.
A musician lost his life after losing his balance and falling into the sea from a height of 30 meters while spending time with his friends on the cliffs in Antalya.
FELL FROM THE CLIFFS
The incident occurred around 19:30 on the cliffs approximately 30 meters high located on Tevfik Işık Street in the Gençlik neighborhood. According to the information obtained, musician Gizem İşken (38) came to the cliffs preferred by citizens for viewing the scenery to spend time with her friends.
Here, İşken and her friends set up the camping chairs they brought close to the edge of the cliffs and started chatting. After a while, İşken, who got up from her friends and went to a nearby path, lost her balance and fell into the sea from a height of approximately 30 meters.
Hearing the woman's scream, her friends reported the incident to the 112 Emergency Call Center, and teams from the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department were dispatched to the scene. Relatives who saw Gizem İşken fall from the rocks experienced a nervous breakdown, while police teams prohibited citizens from entering the area after the incident.
YOUNG MUSICIAN LOST HER LIFE
As the fire crews could not reach the area due to darkness, a boat and divers from the Antalya Police Department's Maritime Port Branch were dispatched to the location. Upon arrival, the sea police found the woman motionless on the water's surface. The musician was taken aboard and brought to Kaleiçi Marina.
In a check conducted by the 112 Emergency Health teams waiting there, it was determined that Gizem İşken had lost her life. After the work done by the Crime Scene Investigation team, Gizem İşken's lifeless body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for the determination of the exact cause of death.
