DECISION MADE UPON THE MINISTRY'S APPLICATION
Upon the application of the Ministry of Family and Social Services, the Ankara Criminal Court of Peace ruled to block access to Dilan Polat's Instagram account.
According to information obtained from ministry sources, the decision was made on the grounds of protecting public order and safeguarding general health. It was learned that the necessary notifications for the implementation of the decision were forwarded to the Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK).
After the completion of the technical process, the access ban is expected to be enforced by Instagram. It was stated that the ministry is closely monitoring the process.

Dilan Polat and her husband Engin Polat were arrested in November 2023 as part of investigations into "money laundering of crime proceeds," "illegal gambling," and "establishing a criminal organization" initiated based on MASAK reports.
After spending approximately 9.5 months in prison, Dilan Polat was released in August 2024 following the evaluation of objections to her detention and new reports prepared by MASAK.
