It has been reported that detention orders have been issued for more than 100 people, including İmamoğlu. Following the detention orders and the investigation, issues have begun to arise in accessing the platforms X, Instagram, and YouTube.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched a large-scale operation against 105 individuals, including Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu. As part of the operation, detention orders were issued for many individuals, including İmamoğlu, who has been taken into custody. Reports indicate that teams also conducted a search at İmamoğlu's residence.

Following the public disclosure of the investigation and detention orders, disruptions occurred in accessing X (Twitter), Instagram, and YouTube platforms. Users reported experiencing slowdowns and connection errors when trying to log into these platforms.

According to NTV's news, it was stated that bandwidth throttling was applied only for Istanbul.
