In the Hamur district of Ağrı, kindergarten teacher Irmak Ayşe Koparan, who had just started her duty in February, was found dead at her home. A judicial and administrative investigation has been launched into the suspicious death, which came to light after her colleagues, who could not reach her, reported the situation.
The suspicious death of a young teacher in Ağrı has plunged the education community into mourning. Irmak Ayşe Koparan, a kindergarten teacher working at Soğanlıtepe Primary School in the Hamur district, was found dead in her home.
COLLEAGUES COULDN'T REACH HER, REVEALING THE TRUTH
The incident occurred at Bey Site in Abide Mahallesi, Ağrı city center. According to information obtained, friends became worried after not hearing from the young teacher Irmak Ayşe Koparan, who had just started her profession in February of this year. When calls and door knocks went unanswered, her colleagues immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
Following the report, police and health teams were dispatched to Koparan's residence. Entering the home with the help of a locksmith, the teams encountered the young teacher's lifeless body. After initial examinations at the scene, Koparan's body was taken to the hospital morgue in Ağrı for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
TWO-PRONGED INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED
Authorities swiftly acted on the mysterious death of the young teacher. The Ağrı Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched a comprehensive judicial investigation into the incident, while the Ağrı Provincial Directorate of National Education also appointed an inspector to clarify all aspects of the matter and conduct an administrative review.
The exact cause of Irmak Ayşe Koparan's death will become clear following the autopsy procedures to be carried out at the forensic medicine institution.
