The decision to increase water and wastewater fees by 45 percent for quantities of 0.5 cubic meters and above was approved by majority vote at the extraordinary meeting of İZSU General Assembly in İzmir. The decision will be effective from July 1st. The İZSU General Assembly convened today under the chairmanship of Deputy Group Leader Altan İnanç. 45 PERCENT INCREASE IN WATER FEES IN İZMİRDuring the meeting, it was unanimously agreed to increase water and wastewater fees by 45 percent for quantities of 0.5 cubic meters and above, effective from July 1st. On the other hand, in April, a proposal for a 25 percent reduction in fees for 0.4 cubic meters of water and wastewater was unanimously approved by the Council. 38 PERCENT INCREASE IN ELECTRICITY FEESMeanwhile, the Energy Market Regulatory Authority announced a 38 percent increase in electricity fees. With this increase, the amount to be paid for a residential subscriber with a consumption of 100 kWh is 207.23 TL. The increase will be effective from July 1st.
