21-year-old Courtney Ingham, living in the County of Durham, England, experienced a terrifying event like no other.

HEARD A EXPLOSION SOUND IN THE TOILET

Ingham struggled with constipation for a full 8 months. The young woman, who did not take her condition very seriously, began to take laxatives and drink plain coffee. Recalling those days, Ingham said her stomach started to swell excessively and she looked "like a 6-month pregnant woman." According to a report by the Daily Mail, one day, the young woman went to the toilet with stomach pain, and after straining a bit, she heard an explosion sound. Ingham described the horrifying moment: "I heard a sound while sitting on the toilet. I realized something was coming out of me. Then I saw blood. When I looked, there was no stool, but there was a lot of blood. When I bent down to look, the sight shocked me; it looked like someone’s organs had fallen out. There were pieces of flesh. My internal organs had come out."

INTERNAL ORGANS FELL OUT

Terrified, the young woman realized that she was bleeding excessively and saw that her anus and internal organs had come out of her body. In pain, Ingham immediately called an ambulance and was taken to the hospital. Doctors providing information about Ingham's health stated that she was suffering from rectal prolapse, which occurs when the rectum is not sufficiently supported. The young woman, who has been undergoing treatment since June, explained that she has been in much more pain and had to be hospitalized.
