Following a 77 kuruş increase in diesel prices yesterday, today there was a 64 kuruş rise in gasoline prices. With the reflected increases at the pump, the price of gasoline in Istanbul is 43 lira 69 kuruş per liter, while diesel is being sold at 43 lira 52 kuruş per liter.

Citizens continue to monitor gasoline and diesel prices along with changes in Brent oil prices and currency rates.

FUEL PRICES CHANGE TWICE IN ONE DAY

Following a 77 kuruş increase in diesel prices recently, today there was also a 64 kuruş increase in gasoline prices. With the reflected increases at the pump, the price of gasoline in Istanbul is sold at 43 lira 69 kuruş, while the price of diesel is 43 lira 52 kuruş per liter.

HOW ARE FUEL PRICES CALCULATED?

Fuel prices are calculated by refineries based on the average prices of refined products in the Mediterranean market, which includes Turkey, and changes in the dollar exchange rate. As a result of this calculation, the prices applied by distribution companies may show slight variations due to competition and freedom among companies and cities.

EPGIS HAD DECIDED NOT TO ANNOUNCE PRICE CHANGES
