Former football player of Fenerbahçe and the National Team, commentator Serhat Akın was attacked by unidentified individuals with firearms after a program he attended in Beykoz.

HE WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL

Akın, who was injured in the leg, was taken to the hospital after the first intervention by health teams at the scene. While it was learned that Akın's health condition is good, the police have initiated work to capture the individuals who carried out the attack. Meanwhile, the Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation regarding the attack.

"OUR LAST WORD IS FENERBAHÇE"

In a post on his social media account, Akın announced the incident, stating, "They shot my legs after the program. Our last word is Fenerbahçe."

MESSAGE FROM ACUN ILICALI

After the attack, Fenerbahçe Vice President Acun Ilıcalı shared a message saying, "I strongly condemn the armed attack on Serhat Akın and wish him a speedy recovery."

FENERBAHÇE CLUB ALSO MADE A STATEMENT

Fenerbahçe also made a statement regarding the attack. The statement said, "We condemn the armed attack on our former football player Serhat Akın. We send our best wishes for his recovery and hope that the perpetrators will be brought to justice as soon as possible."
