Peker broke his silence by sharing a note regarding two individuals who approached a woman named İ.A. (25) walking on the street in Beyoğlu, Istanbul, and sexually assaulted her; "Perverts who corner and harass a young girl in the heart of Istanbul, Beyoğlu, are being released. The only prescription that should be applied to harassers and rapist dogs is the justice of Reis Sedat Peker!"

In the video he shared, Peker stated, "We accept another man's daughter's honor as our own honor; there can be no rape, it cannot happen!"

On the morning of September 29 in Beyoğlu, Istanbul, two individuals approached a woman named İ.A. (25) walking on the street and sexually assaulted her around 5:30 AM.

After the attack, the suspects Semir Tarhan and Ömer Konu were caught and taken into custody. Following the prosecutor's instructions, the two suspects were released after their statements were taken. After footage of the incident emerged, a new arrest warrant was issued against them. Semir Tarhan and Ömer Konu, who were taken into custody, were sent to the courthouse after their statements. The two suspects who were arrested were sent to prison after the proceedings.
