President Erdoğan, in a statement following the Cabinet meeting, stated that they would not tolerate the use of unauthorized flashing lights, sirens, and firearms. Erdoğan mentioned that inspections would be increased, saying, "From now on, we will not show any mercy. The State Supervisory Council will monitor inspection activities much more closely from now on, and anyone who has made a mistake, fault, negligence, or error will be held accountable."
