After the cabinet meeting, Minister Işıkhan made a statement about retirement pensions:

The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, stated that they are working on the difference in pensions between those who will retire this year and those who will retire in 2025, saying, "We are collaborating with our Ministry of Treasury and Finance. We will meet and discuss with our Vice President."

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan answered questions from the press after the Cabinet Meeting at the Presidential Complex.

"THERE IS NO CLARITY, OUR TEAMS ARE WORKING"

In response to the question, "Do you have a study regarding the difference in pensions for those who will retire in 2024 and those who will retire in 2025? There are some formulas being discussed in the public, is there any clarity on this?" Işıkhan stated, "There is no clarity, our teams are working, we are collaborating with our Ministry of Treasury and Finance. We will meet and discuss with our Vice President."

ARE WORKING HOURS BEING REDUCED?

Minister Işıkhan also responded to the question, "Do you have a study regarding the reduction of working hours?" by saying, "We do not have such a study."
