After OGC Nice's defeat to Lorient, Terem Moffi and Jeremie Boga were attacked by fans. The two players, who were subjected to racist insults and physical contact, received medical reports stating they were unfit for work and filed a police complaint. The club condemned the incidents and expressed support for its players.
After OGC Nice's 3-1 defeat to Lorient in Ligue 1, a major scandal erupted upon the team's return. Approximately 400 fans gathered at the airport to protest against the players in the French Riviera. According to RMC Sport, this protest quickly turned into an attack.
RACIST ATTACK ON MOFFI AND BOGA
Nice players Terem Moffi and Jeremie Boga were subjected to physical intervention and racist insults from the fans. It was reported that the players were hit on their bodies and private areas, spat on, and faced severe verbal assaults. Both players went to the police station on Monday to file a complaint and received a report from the hospital.

POLICE REPORT: VERY HOSTILE ATMOSPHERE
The report prepared by numerous police officers at the scene did not fully confirm the physical violence incident but emphasized that the environment contained a "very hostile atmosphere."
According to the report, the players were pushed, shaken, and insulted; however, there was no official record of injury or arrest. Nevertheless, both players decided to initiate legal action due to the attacks and racist insults they endured.
CLUB ISSUED A STATEMENT: WE STAND BY OUR PLAYERS
Following the incidents, OGC Nice released a statement expressing support for their players. While the club stated that they understood the fans' "disappointment with the results," they emphasized that the attack was unacceptable. It was announced that security measures had been increased and that the Crime Fighting Unit and local police units were present in the area at the time of the incident.
