TERRORIST ATTACK ON TUSAŞ FACILITIES
A terrorist attack was carried out against the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) facility located in the Kahramankazan district of Ankara. It was reported that a clash occurred in front of the institution's entrance gate, and explosion sounds were heard. For security reasons, personnel were directed to shelters. Security forces, firefighters, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz condemned the heinous terrorist attack targeting the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) Ankara Kahramankazan campus, stating: "I condemn the heinous terrorist attack carried out against the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) in Ankara Kahramankazan. I pray for the souls of our heroes in the defense industry who became martyrs in the attack, and I wish a speedy recovery to the injured. From the very first moment the attack occurred, our security forces intervened, and a judicial investigation has been initiated by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. This heinous terrorist attack has targeted the achievements of Turkey's defense industry. However, it should be known that these attacks will not deter our heroic workers in the defense industry or a single citizen who works day and night for the ideal of a fully independent Turkey. Just as it has been until now, our strong and determined struggle against terrorism and terrorist organizations will continue from today onward." Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç stated that an investigation has been initiated. A judicial investigation has been initiated by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the heinous terrorist attack, and 1 Deputy Chief Prosecutor and 8 public prosecutors have been assigned.
