After the inauguration ceremony of U.S. President Donald Trump, the border crossing in El Paso, Texas was closed. Reports in the U.S. media and on social media showed that armored police closed the border crossing located in El Paso, Texas.

Announcements made over loudspeakers warned, "Those who pass this point will face arrest, prosecution, and, if necessary, physical force."
WHAT HAPPENED?
The Customs and Border Protection Unit also announced that the "CBP One" application, which allowed legal immigration to the country after Trump's inauguration ceremony, had been removed.
Trump highlighted the issue of irregular immigration in the country, stating that he would declare a National Emergency regarding the U.S.-Mexico border, as he did in 2019, to prevent illegal immigration and deport these individuals. In his speech, Trump referred to irregular immigrants as "criminals" and also announced that he would send troops to the southern border of the U.S.
