The leader of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahçeli, responded to the claim that terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan said, "If the process is not successful, a coup will be carried out against Bahçeli," by stating, "Coup allegations are nonsense; slanders and accusations cannot divert us from our path." Evaluating the development, AK Party member Şamil Tayyar said, "It is clear that Öcalan does not understand the present and the future. Or he is trying to intimidate from behind the scenes. Ultimately, he has hit a wall. The rest is for him to think about."
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli responded to the claims made by DEM Party Group Deputy Chairman Koçyiğit Öcalan and AK Party's Şamil Tayyar regarding the alleged statement made by terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan during the commission's visit to İmralı, saying, "If the process is unsuccessful, a coup will be carried out against Bahçeli."
"IT'S NONSENSE"
Bahçeli stated, "Coup allegations are nonsense, slander and accusations cannot divert us from our path. A historic opportunity threshold is before us. No one has the right to waste this high level," he said.
ATTENTION-GRABBING STATEMENT FROM ŞAMİL TAYYAR
While Bahçeli's response to the coup allegation resonated widely in the public, former AK Party Deputy Şamil Tayyar evaluated the development with a statement he made on his X account.
"BAHÇELİ DOES NOT TAKE ÖCALAN'S CLAIM SERIOUSLY"
Tayyar used the following expressions; "MHP Leader Bahçeli spoke to Türkgün Newspaper. He refers to the claim made by DEM's Gülistan Koçyiğit that 'if the process fails, the coup mechanism will come into play' as 'nonsense.' In other words, he does not take Öcalan's claim seriously.
Additionally, he is reacting to the Barzani show and the statements of PKK member Bese Hozat. Those who ignore the provocations rising from the terrorist organization, I don't know what they will do in the face of Devlet Bey's this statement, but I hope they learn a lesson.
"ÖCALAN IS THREATENING UNDER THE GUISE OF REASON"
Let me add this last sentence: It is seen that Öcalan, who has been in prison for 27 years and cannot break free from the socialist jargon of the Cold War era and the molds of old Turkey, cannot grasp the present and the future. Or he is threatening under the guise of reason. Ultimately, he has hit the wall. The rest is up to him to think about."
