AKOM announced: Here are the districts in Istanbul where snowfall is expected...

After days of warnings from the General Directorate of Meteorology, cold and rainy weather has entered the country. While the storm negatively affected life in Istanbul, it was observed that the air temperature rapidly dropped in the city.

PROVINCES EXPECTED TO RECEIVE SNOWFALL HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED

The Disaster Management Department of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (AKOM) issued warnings regarding the weather conditions in the city.

AKOM stated that the air temperature is expected to drop to 5 degrees during the afternoon and also announced the districts where snowfall is expected throughout the day.

According to AKOM's forecasts, in districts located at higher altitudes such as Çatalca, Silivri, Arnavutköy, Sarıyer, Beykoz, Çekmeköy, and Şile, mixed rain and brief snowfall are expected.
