Ali Koç has resigned! He is a controversial candidate for the Club Association.

The Club Association Foundation will elect its new president at today's meeting. While it is not expected for the current president Ali Koç to continue in office, a surprise candidate has emerged.



According to Yağız Sabuncıoğlu's report, Ali Koç has informed the other club presidents that he will not run for the presidency in the upcoming season. However, the other presidents wanted Ali Koç to continue in office, but Koç did not change his decision.



Meanwhile, Murat Özkaya, the president of Eyüspor, the new team in the Trendyol Super League, announced his candidacy for the presidency of the Club Association Foundation. During his entrance to the Club Association Foundation meeting, Özkaya greeted the press and answered "Of course..." to the question "Will you run for the presidency of the Club Association?"



Beşiktaş President Hasan Arat is expected to support Ali Koç if he runs for the presidency. When the same question was asked to Hasan Arat during his entrance to the meeting, he answered "No."
