Murat Özkaya, the president of Eyüspor, the new team in the Super Lig, has announced that he is a candidate for the presidency of the Club Association Foundation. Özkaya, during his entrance to the Club Association Foundation meeting, responded "Of course..." to the question "Will you be a candidate?". Murat Özkaya is also a member of Galatasaray club. On the other hand, the current president Ali Koç has decided not to be a candidate. The new president will be determined after the meeting next week.

The Club Association Foundation will elect its new president at today's meeting. While it is not expected for the current president Ali Koç to continue in office, a surprise candidate has emerged.



According to Yağız Sabuncıoğlu's report, Ali Koç has informed the other club presidents that he will not run for the presidency in the upcoming season. However, the other presidents wanted Ali Koç to continue in office, but Koç did not change his decision.
