"Ali Koç's striking response to Dursun Özbek"

The president of Super Lig giant Fenerbahçe, Ali Koç, responded harshly to the statements made yesterday by his eternal rival Galatasaray's president, Dursun Özbek.

"PRODUCT OF IMAGINATION"

Ali Koç stated regarding Dursun Özbek's remarks, "We have never had such a dialogue with Dursun Özbek; this is entirely a product of his imagination."

Ali Koç also invited Dursun Özbek to a live broadcast once again. While reiterating his invitation to Dursun Özbek, Ali Koç said, "I would like to state that I will accept the invitation to broadcast at any time he wishes, on any channel, and with any people he wants."

Ali Koç's statement is as follows;

"It has become necessary to make this clarification regarding the statement made yesterday by Galatasaray Club President Mr. Dursun Özbek.

In the relevant statement, he mentioned a dialogue he claims to have had with me; 'As the grandson of Alucralı Dursun Özbek, I can go on television with you, but I need to set the agenda. Let's go there and explain to Turkish youth the equality of opportunity provided to us by the republic as the grandson of Alucralı Dursun Özbek and Vehbi Koç. He did not accept.' We have never had such a dialogue with Dursun Özbek; this is entirely a product of his imagination.

We have officially invited him to a 'mutual discussion on live broadcast' five times, and we have received no response or feedback from him.

This last dialogue he mentioned is also an event that has no basis in reality and has definitely not occurred.

Until today, we have had no one-on-one meetings or conversations with Mr. Özbek; there have always been other people present in our discussions.

Therefore, my request from him is to clearly explain all the details he can provide, including the date, place, and people present, regarding this dialogue he claims took place.

Unfortunately, it has been seen in many instances that misleading the public based on something that does not exist and presenting something that has never happened as if it were real has become a habit for him.

This last claim of his is also completely a lie.

Additionally, on this occasion, regarding the agenda he has created himself;

Including the topics he wants to discuss, I would like to state that I will accept the invitation to broadcast in front of millions to evaluate everything the public is curious about, to discuss openly and honestly, and to enlighten the public at any time he wishes, on any channel, and with any people he wants.

I hope that, as in past examples, there will be no retreat on this matter."
