South Korea announced that all flight departures and arrivals will be temporarily suspended during the English listening section of the annual College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) to be held nationwide on Thursday. According to Yonhap, the Ministry of Transport announced that flights will be suspended between 1:05 PM and 1:40 PM local time to minimize noise pollution during the university entrance exam.
140 FLIGHTS RESCHEDULED UNDER THIS SCOPE
Authorities reported that approximately 140 flights have been rescheduled in advance under this scope, and aircraft in the air will be instructed to fly at an altitude of 3 kilometers or higher under air traffic control management. The CSAT is considered one of the most important academic exams in the country for hundreds of thousands of students and their families who wish to enter universities.
