Google's parent company Alphabet saw its revenue increase 41% in the third quarter of 2021, according to its financial results released Tuesday.
The company's revenue rose to $65.1 billion in the July-September period from nearly $46.2 billion in the same period last year.
Its net income climbed to over $18.9 billion from $11.2 billion for a 69% increase year-on-year.
While Google Search and other services provided revenue of more than $37.9 billion in the third quarter, YouTube ads generated $7.2 billion of revenue.
Google Cloud revenue came in at almost $5 billion.
Total revenue from Google advertising brought in $53.1 billion.
Alphabet's stock price was up 0.05% in after-hours trading on the Nasdaq. -
