Former Ferizli Mayor Ahmet Soğuk in Sakarya lost his life as a result of an armed attack. The police have initiated an investigation in order to capture the suspect or suspects.

Ahmet Soğuk, 64, who served as the mayor of the district from 2009 to 2019, was attacked by unidentified individuals with firearms after leaving his house in Yeni Mahalle and getting into his car. Soğuk, who got out of control and got out of his car injured in a grassy area by the roadside, then collapsed to the ground on his own.

Upon the notification of the witnesses, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. In the examination conducted by the healthcare personnel, it was determined that Soğuk had lost his life. After the police completed their examination at the crime scene, Soğuk's body was taken to the autopsy center at Sakarya Education and Research Hospital Korucuk Campus. The police have initiated an investigation in order to capture the suspect or suspects.
