US-based Twitch streamer Auger, who came to Istanbul for world-famous rapper Travis Scott's concert, was left in shock after a taxi ride. The streamer, who initially agreed to pay 50 euros for a journey that would normally cost a few hundred lira, claimed 136 euros was charged from his card.
STARTED LOOKING FOR A TAXI AFTER THE CONCERT
According to the claim, Auger began searching for a taxi to return to his hotel after the Travis Scott concert. The streamer, who said he was asked to get out of a previous taxi due to traffic, had trouble finding a vehicle for a while.
Footage shared on social media showed the streamer wandering around and looking for transportation after leaving the concert venue.
AGREED TO 50 EUROS, 136 EUROS CHARGED FROM ACCOUNT
Auger said he made a deal with a taxi driver to reach his hotel and accepted the 50 euros requested by the driver.
However, the streamer claimed he noticed that 136 euros, approximately 7,300 TL, was charged from his card during payment. Auger, who shared the incident live and on his social media accounts, also drew reactions from his followers.
