A 72-year-old American citizen, James Link Hanvey, lost his balance while trying to enter his home from the balcony in the Çankaya district of Ankara and fell into the gap between the balcony and the wall, resulting in his death.

The incident occurred around 00:05 at Mustafa Kemal Neighborhood in Çankaya Administration. According to the information obtained, James Link Hanvey (72), a U.S. citizen, came to the balcony of his residence while intoxicated and lost his balance while trying to enter his home from the balcony, falling into the gap between the balcony and the wall.
