Angolan Maria Bruyaba Mafuta was found dead in her home in Beyoğlu. Health teams, who arrived at the scene following a tip-off from a friend, determined that the woman had passed away. Maria Bruyaba Mafuta, an Angolan woman living alone in Beyoğlu, was found dead in her bedroom. Her friend Tranf Keystone, who had not heard from her, looked through the window after arriving at the house and saw Mafuta lying motionless. The body of the woman, who showed no signs of assault or sharp instrument injuries, was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue. An investigation has been launched into the suspicious death.
FOUND MOTIONLESS IN BED
The incident occurred on Wednesday, December 3, around 7:30 PM in the Yenişehir neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Tranf Keystone, a friend from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, went to check on Maria Bruyaba Mafuta, who is in her 40s, after being unable to reach her in the evening. After Mafuta did not open the door, Keystone checked inside by pulling aside the curtain of the open window on the ground floor and saw her friend lying motionless in bed. He then reported the situation to the health teams.
NO SIGNS OF ASSAULT OR SHARP INSTRUMENT INJURIES
Upon the notification, police, health, and fire teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire team broke down the door to enter. Upon inspection, it was determined that Mafuta was found lying on her back and showed no signs of assault or sharp instrument injuries. Health teams confirmed that Mafuta had passed away. The public prosecutor and crime scene investigation teams arrived at the scene and conducted work in the house. The woman's lifeless body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue by a funeral vehicle. An investigation has been launched into the suspicious death.
