In Cologne, Germany, a masked and armed robber entered a jewelry store run by Turks. The armed individual pointed the gun at the employee Ibrahim Dindar and motioned for him to step back.

HE PUNCHED THE ROBBER AND KNOCKED HIM DOWN

Dindar tried to calm down the armed individual. Taking advantage of the robber's momentary distraction, Dindar punched him and knocked him down. The suspect, who received numerous punches within seconds, was taken by surprise.

"I MANAGED TO NEUTRALIZE HIM INSTINCTIVELY"

After the incident, Ibrahim Dindar stated, "I work at a jewelry store in the Ehrenfeld district of Cologne. I had just opened the store around 10:00 in the morning. I was working alone that day. The store has two entrances, the front entrance is busy and the back is quiet. I heard a click and thought it was the landlord or the mailman, so I went to open the door. As soon as I opened the door, the masked individual pointed the gun at me and motioned for me to go inside." Dindar explained that he went inside in fear and said, "Then, let's call it an instinctive reflex, I managed to take the gun from his hand and neutralize him."

"THE ROBBERS WERE 3 PEOPLE"

Dindar stated that the robber did not speak and they communicated through gestures, saying, "I thought he was going to shoot me, I didn't think I could take the gun from his hand." Dindar, who said he had practiced martial arts in the past, said, "We acted instinctively with the confidence he gave us, and we reaped the rewards." Dindar mentioned that there were 3 robbers and said, "We kept their phone and the gun they used. They were caught thanks to the phone. There were 3 people who committed the robbery. They were identified and caught because of the phone call."

Dindar stated that the robber got up and ran away when he took the gun, and mentioned that the robbers were caught on the same day after the neighbors called the police. Dindar also thanked his employer for giving him 1 day off to rest.
