According to the statement made by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the earthquake occurred at a depth of 12.6 kilometers.

Mersin Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan stated that there were no negative incidents reported after the earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 in Mersin. Governor Pehlivan, in a post on his social media account X, stated that an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 occurred in Toroslar district at 23:37 and said, "There are no negative incidents reported to our 112 Emergency Call Center, AFAD, or security units regarding the earthquake. I wish a speedy recovery to our citizens who felt the earthquake. May Allah protect our country and our nation from all kinds of disasters."
