Anadolu Agecny To Begin Indonesian, Spanish Services

Anadolu Agency will being broadcasting services in Indonesian and Spanish, an agency official said Wednesday during the 4th Young Communicators Meeting in Ankara.



From offices in Jakarta, Anadolu Agency plans to broadcast 50 daily stories for the Indonesian operations and develop bilateral relations between the two countries. A two-month test broadcast of the service will be launched ahead of the actual broadcast.



Human Resources and Administrative Affairs Director Ridvan Duran said the agency broadcasts an average of 1,190 news stories and 2,300 photographs daily.



"Today in Turkey, 63 percent of the photos and 40 percent of the news published in national newspapers consist of the agency's photos and news," he said.



Anadolu Agency has 35 offices worldwide and broadcasts news in 11 languages. -
