Anadolu Efes' Poor Form In Euroleague Continues

LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne stun Turkish team 75 73 in France.

Defending champions Anadolu Efes failed to end their dry spell in the 2021-22 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague as the Turkish team lost to LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne 75-73 in France on Tuesday
Anadolu Efes has displayed a disappointing performance this season with a 0-3 win/loss record in the EuroLeague.
Following their defeat against ASVEL, the Istanbul team is at the bottom of the EuroLeague standings.
Anadolu Efes were leading the game 62-53 by the end of the third quarter at the Astroballe but the French team came back in the last quarter.
ASVEL scored 22 points in the fourth quarter but Anadolu Efes tallied 11 points to lose the game.
Anadolu Efes' Serbian guard Vasilije Micic produced 24 points to be the game's highest scorer.
US guard Chris Jones scored 16 points to lead ASVEL.
In addition to Jones, four ASVEL players -- Paul Lacombe, Dylan Osetkowski, William Howard and Kostas Antetokounmpo scored in double digits.
Anadolu Efes star Shane Larkin racked up 15 points and the Turkish club's French guard Rodrigue Beaubois added 13 points.
ALBA Berlin beat Fenerbahce Beko
Germany's ALBA Berlin toppled Turkey's Fenerbahce Beko 84-70 in a round three game at the Mercedes-Benz Arena on Tuesday.
It was Fenerbahce Beko's second loss of the season.
Oscar da Silva and Maodo Lo were on fire as they produced a combined 43 points for ALBA Berlin.
Da Silva scored 22 points and Lo 21 points.
Fenerbahce Beko were led by French playmaker guard Nando de Colo as the 34-year-old scored 15 points.
He also made eight assists.
Ahmet Duverioglu added 12 points for the Istanbul club.
Fenerbahce Beko beat Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade in the EuroLeague opener but were then beaten by Panathinaikos OPAP Athens.
