Announcement from BOTAŞ on natural gas tariffs.

Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ) announced that there has been no change in the sales tariff for natural gas used by residential and industrial subscribers as well as gas for electricity generation as of December.

According to the tariff table published on BOTAŞ's website, the tariff for residential and industrial subscribers for natural gas, which will be valid from December, and the tariff for electricity generation purposes remained unchanged.

Accordingly, the sales price that BOTAŞ will apply to distribution companies for residential consumers in December was announced as 5,631 lira for one thousand cubic meters of natural gas.

The tariff determined for bread producers was set at 8,549 lira for one thousand cubic meters of natural gas. In the tariff for electricity generation purposes, the price of one thousand cubic meters of natural gas was announced as 12,000 lira. Natural gas price tariffs are calculated monthly.

In the announcement on the institution's website, it was stated, "Based on the Household Energy Price Index (HEPI) prices, our country has the lowest natural gas price among European countries after Ukraine for households."
