The Israeli army, on the other hand, released footage of the airstrike targeting Cevad, claiming that he was an important commander of Hezbollah's military wing, the Radwan Force. In the army statement, it was stated that Cevad was shot while riding a motorcycle in the border town of Aba in Lebanon. The number of Hezbollah members killed in Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon since October 8, 2023, has risen to 394. HEZBOLLAH HAD SWORN REVENGEIn his speech at the funeral of Fuad Shukur, who was killed in the Israeli attack, Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah stated that a new phase of war had begun with Israel.
