In Istanbul's Gaziosmanpasa district, 5 suspects were caught in an operation against drug dealers.
BUTTON PRESSED FOR SIMULTANEOUS OPERATION
In an operation carried out by the Istanbul Narcotics Crime Prevention Branch Directorate teams against individuals engaged in drug trafficking, following the search and seizure warrant obtained from the prosecutor's office, a simultaneous operation was conducted this morning at addresses where drug manufacturing and trafficking were carried out, particularly in Gaziosmanpasa, to catch the suspects described as "street dealers."
5 SUSPECTS CAUGHT
The 5 suspects, who were under technical and physical surveillance, were caught and taken into custody. During the searches at the address where the operation was conducted, a large quantity of drugs was seized. While the drugs were confiscated, the 5 suspects taken into custody were brought to the police station.
The suspects in question were referred to judicial authorities in the following process after the investigation proceedings conducted under Article 188 of the Turkish Penal Code.
