Armed assailants on Saturday morning stormed a ministry compound in the Afghan capital Kabul, the city's police chief said.
Roshan Dil told Anadolu Agency four attackers have entered the compound of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology in downtown Kabul during morning rush hour.
Dil said the attack began with a suicide attack at the entrance, adding the special forces reached the area to begin security operation and rescue some 2,000 public servants at this facility.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack. -
