The incident occurred around 8:00 PM on 2109 Street in Çay Neighborhood. Five suspects approached H.E.'s workplace in a car and opened fire.
HEAVY TOLL
The bullets fired by the assailants hit H.E., the owner of the establishment in front of the workplace, along with his son S.E., and customers S.D. and Y.D. After the incident, the assailants fled the area in their car. Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene following reports from nearby residents.
Injured H.E. was taken to İzmir City Hospital by ambulance, while the other three injured were taken to Ege University Hospital. Despite the doctors' intervention, H.E., who was treated for severe injuries, lost his life.
5 PEOPLE ARRESTED
It was learned that S.E., one of the injured undergoing treatment, is in critical condition. Police apprehended the suspects A.D., D.D., E.D., S.D., and M.D., along with the weapon believed to have been used in the incident. The police took the detained suspects to the police station and launched an investigation into the incident.
