In an armed attack on a house linked to a family in the transportation sector in the municipality of Tehuitzingo, Puebla state, Mexico, at least 10 people, including a child, were killed. Following the chilling incident, the army, federal police, and National Guard launched a large-scale operation in the area to capture the perpetrators, while the prosecutor's office investigates the attack's connection to organized crime groups.

AT LEAST 10 DEAD, INCLUDING A CHILD
According to a statement from the Puebla Secretariat of Public Security, at least 10 people, including a child, lost their lives in the attack. The incident reportedly occurred in the morning hours when armed individuals entered a home belonging to a family allegedly linked to the local transportation sector and opened fire on the family members.
The Puebla Prosecutor's Office stated that following a report from a local resident, police teams were dispatched to the scene, where they found multiple individuals injured by firearms. According to the prosecutor's office, 9 people died at the scene, while one woman died while being transferred to the hospital.
ARMY AND NATIONAL GUARD JOIN INVESTIGATION
The prosecutor's office has launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident. State and federal security forces have also announced a large-scale operation to apprehend the perpetrators. Local sources reported that the Puebla state police, the army, the Mexican National Guard, and judicial authorities are participating in the investigation, with patrol and control activities ongoing in the area.
In recent years, various armed violence incidents have occurred in Puebla state, with some of these events said to be linked to organized crime.
