Within the scope of an investigation conducted by the Bakirkoy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office targeting 'New Generation Armed Criminal Organizations', 6 people were detained in connection with armed attacks on workplaces in Bakirkoy and Kadikoy. After processing at the police station, the suspects were referred to the courthouse; 2 of them were arrested by the court, while it was learned that the testimonies of the other 4 suspects are ongoing.
An investigation was launched by the Bakırköy Republic Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Organized Crimes Investigation Bureau regarding armed attacks on certain workplaces in Bakırköy and Kadıköy on June 30 and July 18, as part of investigations into armed criminal organizations known as 'New Generation Armed Criminal Organizations.' Within the scope of the investigation, arrest, detention, and search warrants were issued for a total of 10 individuals, including 2 suspects under the age of 18, determined to be involved in the acts, on charges of 'Aggravated robbery' and 'Membership in an armed criminal organization.'
2 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
As part of the operation conducted by police teams, 6 suspects were taken into custody. Following procedures at the police station, 2 suspects were referred to the courthouse and subsequently arrested by the court and sent to prison. While the statements of 4 suspects are ongoing, it was learned that efforts to capture the 4 fugitive suspects continue.
COMMUNICATIONS RELATED TO THE ATTACK REVEALED
In the communications included in the investigation file, it was determined that the suspects provided each other with information about the location of the target workplace before the action, shared photos and videos from the scene, and exchanged messages regarding the armed attack after it occurred. The file also includes security camera footage related to the attack.
