In Bursa's İnegöl district, 10 people were injured as a result of a shotgun being fired in a children's park. Two suspects who fled after the incident were caught and detained by the police. Police have increased security measures against possible counterattacks.

In the İnegöl district of Bursa, 10 people were injured when Ö.Ç. (18) and E.Y. (18) opened fire with a pump-action shotgun in a children's park. The two suspects, who fled after the incident, were apprehended by police.

TWO FLEEING SUSPECTS CAUGHT AND TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

The incident occurred around 21:00 in the children's park on Süleymaniye Neighborhood Park Yolu Street. Ö.Ç. and E.Y., who arrived at the park in a vehicle with an unidentified license plate, fired multiple times at those present with a pump-action shotgun, then fled the scene. Those hit by pellets from the shotgun—Eymen Ç. (17), Ahmet Ç. (18), Osman Ş. (15), Ratibe A. (36), Berat V. (21), Uğurcan V. (27), Bora V. (15), Yusuf S. (13), Davut Ç. (13), and Musab U. (16)—were injured. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The 10 injured individuals were taken to İnegöl State Hospital by ambulances and private vehicles. The two suspects who fled after the incident were caught and taken into custody by police.

POLICE TAKE PRECAUTIONS AGAINST POSSIBLE RETALIATION

Meanwhile, police implemented security measures around a market owned by suspect Ö.Ç.'s father due to the risk of retaliation. Riot police units were stationed around the market, and precautions were increased to prevent any adverse incidents in the area.
