"Arrogant Threat from U.S. Senators to Turkey via Syria"

A bold threat has come from U.S. senators regarding Turkey, which is striking terrorist elements in Syria. CNN Türk Washington Correspondent Yunus Paksoy conveyed the details of the incident as follows:

"IF TURKEY DOES NOT ACCEPT, WE WILL BRING THE SANCTIONS BILL TO CONGRESS"

One of the two senators is Democrat Chris Van Hollen, and the other is Republican Lindsey Graham. These two senators have united and issued a joint statement. They say they will activate a bipartisan sanctions bill. This is, of course, a clear and direct threat from these American senators. They state that if Turkey does not accept the ceasefire conditions, we will bring the sanctions bill to Congress. So what are the details of this statement? What do they want from Turkey? What are they trying to force Turkey to accept here?

"TURKEY REJECTED THE EXTENSION OF THE CEASEFIRE"

They say that Turkey-backed forces are increasing their attacks on our Syrian Kurdish partners, referring to the YPG and PKK terrorist organizations, threatening once again the mission to prevent the resurgence of ISIS, according to their claims. They state that the temporary ceasefire between the Syrian National Army and the YPG, PKK has ended, and Turkey rejected the extension of this ceasefire. Additionally, they claim that the area referred to as Kobani is not considered a demilitarized zone. If Turkey does not accept this, they say they will bring this sanctions package to Congress for a vote within this week, and they add that while Turkey may have some legitimate security concerns, these developments undermine regional security, and the U.S. cannot remain indifferent to this.

THE PKK TERRORIST ORGANIZATION HAS MET WITH MAZLUM ABDI, THE LEADER OF THE TERRORIST ORGANIZATION

Let me also explain why this statement has come now. Two U.S. senators have spoken on the phone with Mazlum Abdi, the terrorist leader of the YPG and PKK, and Mazlum Abdi reportedly cried to these senators over the phone, saying they are attacking us, they are not stopping the attacks, they are not accepting our ceasefire proposal, please help us. Because the statement says, we spoke on the phone and reiterated our support for our Syrian Kurdish partners, if Turkey does not accept these conditions immediately, I emphasize this, if Turkey does not accept them immediately, we will bring a bipartisan sanctions bill to Congress similar to the one we jointly presented in 2019.

Here, they are saying that they will impose sanctions on our President, our state, and Turkey's arms purchases, meaning the F-16 issue may also come up, for which we have already paid, and all these sanctions will be imposed on defense industry purchases and sales, all because of operations against the YPG and PKK. We have actually been conveying this for a while; Muslims will definitely be involved here in Congress, just like in 2019, I have repeatedly emphasized that it feels like we are living the same movie again, and Congress will also support the terrorist organization here, and we have seen the clearest example and explanation of this. We do not know if they will actually implement this, if they will really put this sanctions bill forward, but we can clearly see that there is a threat being made to Turkey, a finger being pointed, because they are saying, accept the demands of the terrorist organization immediately, or we will impose sanctions on you, say the two senators, one Democrat and one Republican.
