The conversation between the match referee Turgut Doman and VAR referee Alper Çetin after the foul committed by Rey Manaj on Barış Alper Yılmaz was as follows;

Sivasspor's striker Rey Manaj had apologized to Barış Alper Yılmaz for the foul he committed during the Galatasaray match.

Rey Manaj used the following expressions in his post:

"I am very sorry to have faced a situation today in the match that I did not want to experience in my professional football career. I want to sincerely express to Barış Alper Yılmaz and the football community that I did not intend to foul or cause an injury. This incident occurred while I was trying to contribute to my team with the adrenaline and excitement given by the match score. I wholeheartedly wish Barış Alper Yılmaz a speedy recovery and apologize, hoping to see him among us soon."

WHAT HAPPENED?

Galatasaray expected a red card after the incident that occurred in the final minutes of the match where they defeated Sivasspor 3-2.

In the 90+9th minute of the match, Rey Manaj committed a clear foul on Barış Alper. The referee Turgut Doman, who blew the whistle for the foul, showed a yellow card to Manaj. Doman, who watched the incident on the monitor upon VAR's warning, did not change his decision.

After the incident, Barış Alper Yılmaz, who was left on the ground in pain and injured, had to leave the field on a stretcher. Barış Alper had scored his team's third goal. This incident quickly became a topic of discussion.
