Famous names from the world of cinema walked the red carpet at the opening ceremony of the 61st International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival. The festival, which was canceled last year due to censorship debates, reunited with art lovers this year under the theme "Our Story Together." Saadet Işıl Aksoy delivered the opening speech of the special night, starting her remarks with the words, "I respectfully commemorate our murdered sisters."

The opening ceremony of the 61st International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival began with a red carpet walk.

Famous names from the cinema and television world walked on the red carpet in front of the Cam Piramit Fair and Congress Center, posing for journalists. Saadet Işıl Aksoy, who delivered the opening speech of the ceremony, began her words by commemorating the murdered women. Işıl Aksoy, who received the festival emblem on behalf of her murdered sisters, called for justice for everyone.

This year, with the suggestion of jury president Ferzan Özpetek, a festival face was determined, just like at festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, and Venice. Saadet Işıl Aksoy, chosen as the festival face, stated, "I came as a young talent in 2007, and now I am the host, receiving this as the face of the festival. I accept this award for my murdered sisters, and I wish for justice for everyone," she expressed.
