In Karabük, an 80-year-old man shot and killed his 72-year-old sister-in-law with a gun and then took his own life.

According to the information obtained, the incident occurred in the Hıdırlı neighborhood of Alpagut village, which is part of the district. Hüseyin Ortakcı (80) shot his brother's wife, Gülsiye Ortakcı (72), with a gun in the corridor of his house. The elderly man then went to the bedroom and committed suicide by shooting himself with the same gun.

Upon notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the address. Upon examination, it was determined that both had lost their lives. After the investigations by the public prosecutor, the bodies were taken to the morgue of Eflani Integrated Hospital. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
