In Diyarbakır, the unauthorized demonstration organized by the DEM Party once again showcased familiar scenes. The crowd supported the statements made by the party's General President, Tuncer Bakırhan, in favor of the leader Öcalan by chanting slogans. The police intervened against individuals who were propagating terrorist organization propaganda during the unauthorized demonstration.

POLICE INTERVENED IN THE UNAUTHORIZED DEMONSTRATION

A group gathered in Sanat Sokağı in the afternoon for a rally announced by the DEM Party to be held at İstasyon Meydanı. Due to the unauthorized nature of the rally, the police did not allow the group to walk to the area. After discussions between security officials and party members, the group was allowed to make a statement in Sanat Sokağı. DEM Party General President Tuncer Bakırhan stated, "We are against isolation. We are against the isolation you have imposed on Öcalan (Abdullah Öcalan) for 4 years," in his statement.

During the demonstration where propaganda for the separatist terrorist organization was made, slogans in favor of PKK and Öcalan were frequently chanted. Six individuals who were propagating terrorism were detained during the demonstration.
