Due to the increase in Turkey's exports and Bulgaria's inability to cope with the volume, trucks have formed a 31-kilometer queue at the Hamzabeyli Border Gate. Truck drivers are struggling to meet their needs.

Trucks waiting to exit to abroad from the Hamzabeyli Border Gate have created a queue of approximately 31 kilometers.

Due to the increase in Turkey's exports and Bulgaria's inability to respond to the congestion, there has been a density at the border gate leading to Europe. Hundreds of truck drivers are continuing their wait in their vehicles for passage to Europe.

"I HAVE BEEN WAITING SINCE YESTERDAY"

Yüksel Atakan, a truck driver carrying cargo from İzmir to Hungary, told AA reporter that the queue of trucks has been increasing every passing moment.

Atakan, who stated that he has been waiting in the queue since yesterday afternoon, said, "I don't think I will be able to pass today either. There is no water, no bread, no toilet in the queue; we cannot meet our needs."

Mustafa Kıyak, another truck driver carrying cargo on the same route, noted that drivers are struggling because they cannot meet their needs in the queue. Over 1,000 truck drivers in the extending queue continue to wait for their turn.
