Scholz, who stated, "We have different opinions regarding Israel," said, "The Hamas attack on October 7 was a terrible crime. Of course, everyone has the right to defend themselves. It is essential to reduce escalation and have a ceasefire to prevent the spread of this conflict. There should be a two-state solution."

ERDOĞAN'S REACTION: YOU DID WELL, IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE

Following this statement, Erdoğan intervened, saying, "There is a massacre in which 50,000 people have been killed, and unfortunately, in this massacre, people have been killed without regard to children, women, or the elderly. Regarding the killing of all these people, many countries, including South Africa, have initiated a process with the International Court of Justice, and we are one of those countries. Because the killing of 50,000 people and the injury of more than 100,000 people surely does not make one say, 'You did well with the F-35s.' It makes one ask, 'Where are you going with this?'"
